Α Symposium entitled “Views into nuclear function” will be organized in Patras, Greece on September 11 – 13, 2014.

The Symposium aims to bring together scientists working on replication, transcription, nuclear structure, epigenetic regulation and cell fate choice to discuss how these processes are interlinked.

The symposium will be followed by practicals on live cell imaging methods. The practicals will take place on September 13th and will include hands-on sessions on Fluorescence Recovery After Photobleaching (FRAP), Fluorescence Loss in Photobleaching (FLIP), localized DNA damage and methods of analysis of functional imaging data.

The symposium will be held at the Conference and Cultural Center of the University of Patras.

Deadline for abstract submission, early registration and student fellowship applications extended up to  25 July
